Wedding Dress
Derek Webb
Transcribed from a live performance in Conway, AR on the Overdressed tour.
It's played Capo 8 in G Form which puts it in Eb Major (same as the album version).
The TAB here is pretty bare bones. Derek filled out the implied chords a lot more than
I've shown here so just play around with it until it sounds good.

G -2-3--2--2-3-2-
B -0-0--3--3-3-2-
E -X-X--0--3-X-0-
The keys to this song are simple. At the end of every verse riff, the little
fill part is really simple. Just keep your first finger on A1, then hammer
on and off quickly on G2, then D2. I find that little hammers occasionally
on the D string during F’s, and on the G string during the chorus C
transition to Em are nice as well. Season to taste I guess! And I'd say run
your guitar with just a little bit of crunch (via distortion, gain on a tube
amp, whatever)...not much. And light reverb (very light).
