pick) at an energetic tempo, this general pattern:

Pause after each section (intro, verse, chorus, etc.) before beginning
the next.  For the C minor chord in the verses, strum a single
down-stroke near the bridge of the guitar (which creates a brighter
tone) and hesitate (ritard) slightly.  At the C minor in the chorus,
carry the strumming pattern and tempo through without a pause.  In the
outro, slow to about half-tempo, and for the last line switch to
strumming only down-stokes.
